Amazon Prime makes embarrassing blunder on Princess Beatrice's title

Amazon Prime has made an embarrassing blunder on Princess Beatrice's title.
The new series 'A Very Royal Scandal' dropped on the streaming platform earlier this week, dramatising Prince Andrew's career-ending Newsnight interview from 2019.
The series, which was executively produced by Emily Maitlis, featured text-on-screen epilogues at the end of episode three, showing what became of the Duke of York, his eldest daughter, Maitlis, and Ghislaine Maxwell.
The pre-credit screen that served read: "Princess Beatrice is Vice President of Partnerships and Strategy at Afiniti, a data and software company.

PA"In 2022, she was made one of four councillors of state, allowing her to stand in for King Charles."
However, the spelling of Beatrice's title was incorrect, writing "councillor" as opposed to "counsellor".
GB News has approached Amazon Prime for comment.
Princess Beatrice was made a counsellor of state in 2022, the same year Prince Andrew was stripped of his honorary military titles and medals by Queen Elizabeth II.

Counsellors of State include the spouse of the sovereign, and the next four people in the line of succession who are over the age of 21.
This meant Princess Beatrice was promoted to the position after the late Queen's death, joining Prince William, Prince Harry, and Prince Andrew.
The Princess of York featured heavily in the new royal programme, showing the role she played in the Newsnight interview coming to fruition.
She famously accompanied Andrew to meet the Newsnight team prior to the interview, which has been documented by Maitlis and former producer Sam McAlister.

The same year Beatrice became a counsellor of state, Princess Anne and Prince Edward were also promoted.
This was so they could act on behalf of King Charles if he were unable to perform his royal duties due to an illness or absence.
This quietly prevented Prince Harry and Prince Andrew, who are not working royals, from acting as substitutes for the King.
