Princess Beatrice channelled Kate as she stepped up for the Princess of Wales, royal fans have claimed.
The Princess of York joined her sister Eugenie and cousin Zara Tindall for the Buckingham Palace garden party on Tuesday, hosted by Prince William.
The Princess of Wales would normally have attended beside her husband, however, the mother-of-three began cancer treatment earlier this year.
As a result, she is not currently performing royal duties so she can focus on her recovery.

Princess Beatrice, 35, looked beautiful in a pink dress from Beulah London, worth a whopping £795.
The dress strongly resembled one worn by Princess Kate in 2022 for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.
Kate, 42, opted for a raspberry red gown from Stella McCartney, which she wore on the Buckingham Palace balcony beside the late monarch and other members of the Royal Family.
One fan wrote on social media: "A little inspiration from the Princess of Wales?"

Royal commentator Victoria Arbiter commented: "I generally don’t follow royal fashion but I have total dress envy here!"
She accompanied the post with a photograph of Princess Beatrice wearing the stunning dress.
Princess Beatrice's appearance at the garden party comes as she is expected to play a more prominent public role for the Royal Family this summer during Kate's continuing absence.
Buckingham Palace is still considering how best to deploy Beatrice, but she is expected to accompany the King to key events, possibly the Japanese state visit next month.

"You've got a whole week of Ascot. You have four garden parties. You've got Trooping the Colour, and you've got a state visit before you even start on other things.
"I think Beatrice and Eugenie are adding support where they can. They've always been clear they're non-royal, but they're always there to help fulfil any duties required."
