Princess Beatrice's home "will not be offered as a substitute for Prince Andrew", according to new reports.
King Charles is understood to want the Duke of York to leave the £30million estate, considering it inappropriately extravagant for Andrew.
The 64-year-old was stripped of his working royal status in the wake of his friendship with convicted paedophile Jefferey Epstein.
The duke, however, has refused to move out of the Windsor home, which he shares with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.
The feud between the brothers has led to speculation as to where the Duke of York may move.
Reportedly, the King wants his brother to downsize to Frogmore Cottage.
The Windsor home, which played host to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle before their move to California, is more modest than the vast Royal Lodge but has been significantly renovated by the Sussexes.
Prince Andrew, however, is reported to have rejected the offer to live in Frogmore, considering the move to be a "demotion".

The duke may also be asked to consider a move to Wood Farm, a low-key five-bedroom property on the Sandringham Estate that once played home to the late Prince Phillip after he retired from public-facing duties in 2017.
The York family is known to be fond of Wood Farm, having stayed there for their past two Christmases.
The red brick home fits King Charles’s wish that Prince Andrew’s new residence keep him far away from the public eye.
This is why, according to reports in Tatler Magazine, the King is unlikely to offer Andrew an apartment in St James’ Palace in London, where Princess Beatrice has an apartment.
The princess tied the knot with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2020 and they currently live in the St James' Palace apartment with their two-year-old daughter Sienna.
According to reports in The Sun, King Charles has stripped Prince Andrew of his 10-person security team.
The guards have been informed that their contracts will not be extended into the autumn.
The decision means that the duke will be forced to personally finance any future protection plans at Royal Lodge if he wishes to avoid eviction – expected to cost him millions of pounds.

PAA source told the publication: "Everyone is speculating this means the Duke will have to leave the Royal Lodge because what other reason could there be to take his security away? It isn’t a secret that the King wants him out."
However, Prince Andrew is determined to stay at the Grade II-listed building, which boasts 30 rooms and looks out onto a 90-acre estate.
The duke signed a 75-year lease in 2003, entitling him to the residence at Royal Lodge for £250 a week so long as he maintains the property.
The contract stipulates that the duke must "repair, renew, uphold, clean and keep in repair and where necessary rebuild" the 19th-century building.
