The Princess of York visited the International Telecommunication Union

Princess Beatrice met experts to discuss AI at a Global Summit in Switzerland.

The Princess of York attended the AI For Good Global Summit in Geneva, where she met experts in the tech field to discuss articigical intelligence.


The summit was held at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Switzerland.

Seizo Onoe, the Director of the ITU, posted two pictures of Beatrice on the social media platform X.

He wrote: "Delighted to welcome HRH Princess Beatrice to ITU!

"We had a good discussion on tech areas like AI and the importance of digital inclusions for everyone to benefit from the tech advances changing our world.

"We look forward to seeing you again at next year's #AIforGood Global Summit!"

In 2017, Princess Beatrice landed a job at an American technology firm with connections to very senior people in global business and politics.

The princess is now a strategist and business partnerships manager at Afiniti.

This is a global company specialising in AI that pairs call centre agents with individual customers.

Beatrice tied the knot with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, a property developer, in 2020.

The couple share a two-year-old daughter named Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi.

Edoardo also has a seven-year-old son Christopher Woolf (nicknamed Wolfie) from his previous relationship with Dara Huang.

Wolfie often makes appearances at public royal events, such as the recent Christmas carol concert hosted by Princess Kate.

Although not a working member of the Royal Family, Beatrice holds many patronages.

For instance, she is the patron of Forget Me Not Children's Hospice, which supports children with life-shortening conditions in West Yorkshire and North Manchester.
