Price commented: "As a leader, we find her very inspiring in terms of the dedication that she shows to her own very important role, day in, day out."
The school hosted a global conference to inspire future women leaders, in an effort to celebrate existing for 100 years as a prominent girls' school.
Princess Anne's former school has changed slightly since she attended in 1963, as it is now partnered with the John Wallis Academy in Ashford.
The Princess Royal inspected the Combined Cadet Forces of both schools, as part of her special visit.
The headteacher at John Wallis, Damian McBeath, said: "It's been super exciting in school all day.
"We've been talking about it, they've been making sure their boots are polished, and they're giving each other tips on how to stand and present themselves."
As part of her visit, Anne attended the opening of the Seniors’ Courtyard.
In addition, she launched the “Benenden 100” Centenary Book and attended the Benenden Society Reception.
