King Charles and Queen Camilla, alongside Princess Anne, welcomed guests to Buckingham Palace today for a special reception celebrating humanitarian organisations and their milestone anniversaries.
The royal hosts were joined by The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester for the event, which recognised exceptional individuals and organisations contributing to global humanitarian efforts.
The gathering brought together representatives from four major charities marking significant anniversaries in 2025.

Queen Camilla appeared in an elegant blue dress, adorned with the historic Greville Cartier Ivy Leaf Brooches.
The distinctive brooches have a rich royal heritage, with the first piece designed in 1930 and a matching brooch created in 1937 for The Hon. Margaret Greville.
The jewels were later inherited by The Queen Mother in 1942.
The brooches were subsequently given to Queen Elizabeth II as a 21st birthday present.

During the reception, attendees viewed displays highlighting the humanitarian organisations' work and heard stories from their volunteers.
International Health Partners, of which King Charles has been Patron since 2004, celebrated its 20th anniversary at the event.
ShelterBox, supported by Queen Camilla since 2007, marked its 25th year of humanitarian service.
Islamic Relief Worldwide commemorated four decades of charitable work with its 40th anniversary.

Christian Aid reached a remarkable milestone, celebrating 80 years of humanitarian assistance.
The four organisations represent a combined 165 years of global humanitarian work.

The event featured a special collection of 15 images from the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), which had been sent to the King for World Humanitarian Day in August 2024.
