In a statement, the Palace confirmed the Princess Royal "remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery".

Speaking to GB News, biographer Angela Levin told hosts Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster that nine of the Princess's engagements have had to be postponed as a result of the incident.
Levin also expressed concern for Anne's temporary memory loss and the fact that she "cannot remember" what happened to her is "very serious".
Levin revealed: "The worry is, if you have been bashed on the head, you have to be very careful when you're a certain age.
"She might think she's feeling better, because she's the sort of woman to say 'I'm not staying in here any longer than I have to'. But when you think that somebody can't remember anything about it, it is very serious."

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Levin told GB News: "She's formidable, but also deeply helpful and willing. She's a very strong woman.
"If you saw her in the rain last week at Trooping the Colour, it was unbelievable. She did that in the pouring rain. She looked so strong and in control of it.
Echoing Levin's remarks, Eamonn highlighted how Princess Anne is an "accomplished horse person" and has received many accolades in the past for her equine skills.
He added: "She's an Olympic medalist and Sports Personality of the Year as a result of her equestrian events."

Discussing Princess Anne's recovery, Levin hoped that the Southmead Hospital "keeps her in until she seems really so much better", as she "won't want to stay there a minute longer" than she needs to be.
Levin told GB News: "Nobody knows if she was on her own or whether she was with her husband, but he did go with her in an ambulance.
"This evening she can't go to the Japanese state visit, and she now can't go to Canada, which she was going to do at the end of the week, and do that for the King."
