The Princess Royal was hospitalised at the end of last month
Princess Anne is set to avoid a "big sit-down interview" in the wake of her return to duties, a royal commentator has exclusively told GB News.
Anne, 73, spent five nights in hospital after an incident with a horse at her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire.
It has been reported that she cannot remember the details of the incident.
The Princess Royal began a phased return to work on July 12 after nearly three weeks of recuperating from the horse incident.
She undertook about two-thirds of her diary engagements last week.
During her time in hospital, the princess was forced to cancel upcoming engagements.
These included a trip to Canada and an appearance at the State Banquet.
Gareth Russell, a royal commentator, spoke exclusively to GB News about whether or not Princess Anne will speak at length about her injuries.
He said: “I don't think Princess Anne is particularly the self-pitying kind.
"I don't think we'll see a big sit-down interview where she discusses the horseriding accident at all. I don't think it's really in her nature.
"That being said, she's often quite candid in interviews, so if she's asked about it, she might talk about it.

“But I'd be very surprised if she felt that it was in the public's interest or beholden of her to sit down and talk about the incident where she was injured.
"I don't think that's in her personality or track record.”
Princess Anne is currently on a 12-day Olympic trip in Paris after recovering from a head injury.
The Princess Royal is president of the British Olympic Association and competed at the 1976 games in the equestrian three-day event.
