Princess Anne has carried out a third of royal engagements so far in 2024.
The Princess Royal increased her workload this year as she undertook engagements in place of other senior members of the Royal Family.
The reliable royal picked up the slack for the family as King Charles and the Princess of Wales stepped back from their royal duties due to their cancer diagnoses.
Anne carried out 172 engagements between January and April 2024 and worked for 68 days, double the number of other working royals.

Prince William was also absent from some royal engagements this year as he looked after his wife and their children after Kate’s cancer announcement.
The Princess Royal carried out 31.3 per cent of all royal engagements in 2024 so far according to an analysis of official events listed on the Court Circular.
Overall, her workload increased by two per cent compared to the same months in 2023.
Anne was closely followed by the Duke of Edinburgh who carried out 15.3 per cent and the Duchess of Edinburgh on 11.3 per cent.

Princess Anne has not only continued her normal charity engagements but also stepped up in place of the King as he underwent cancer treatment.
In January, the princess attended the funeral of King Constantine of Greece in Athens after returning from a royal tour in Sri Lanka.
In February she travelled to Namibia for the funeral of President Hage Geingob and two weeks later she visited Dubai.
The Princess Royal also visited British Columbia, Canada last week for a series of engagements with the Royal Canadian Navy.

Accompanied by her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the princess attended the Commissioning Ceremony for the HMCS Max Bernays.
The total number of royal engagements in 2024 fell by 25.6 per cent compared to the same period last year.
However, the King has now returned to public duties and the Palace has not ruled out Princess Kate making some appearances when she is feeling well enough.
On Wednesday, Charles was joined by other members of the Royal Family for a Buckingham Palace party.
