Omid Scobie's new book Endgame is due to be released in the UK tomorrow
Prince William stepped out for his first appearance tonight since Prince Harry's biographer dropped bombshell claims in his new book, Endgame.
The Prince of Wales, 41, attended the Tusk Conservation Awards in London this evening.
William smiled warmly as he greeted organisers upon arrival at The Savoy Hotel on The Strand.
This comes as Omid Scobie's new book has been released in Australia, which contains many passages about the father-of-three.
For instance, the author claimed that the Duke of Sussex made two attempts to set up meetings with William in the wake of his bombshell memoir, Spare, which was released in January earlier this year.
However, the author wrote that the Prince of Wales rejected both attempts.
This was because William felt his father King Charles and grandmother Queen Elizabeth II were being "too soft", the author added.

Despite these bombshell claims, the Prince of Wales was all smiles as he arrived at tonight's event.
The glitzy event is meant to highlight the work done by conservationists across African nations.
The awards have recognised 55 conservation leaders from 20 countries ever since the inaugural event began in 2013.
Prince William is the Patron of Tusk and attended a symposium last year for the charity's 10th anniversary.
