Prince William has made an emotional return to his former airbase in North Wales as part of his new Royal Family role as Air Commodore.
The Prince of Wales was appointed for the position by his father King Charles in August 2023.
William attended the RAF base in Anglesey earlier today to tour the airbase and meet personnel.
The Prince and Princess of Wales lived together on the Isle of Anglesey just after getting married.

The base is the only Royal Air Force station in Wales and features the No.4 Flying Training School (4FTS).
William visited the Air Traffic Control Tower to see the new surveillance equipment.
The Prince also heard about how operations at the base are still running alongside a huge £44million project to refurbish the RAF Valley's second runway.

The award honours the top Qualified Flying Instructor within the No. 4.

Finally, the royal met members of the RAF Mountain Rescue Service - who remain on-call 365 days a year.
The royal served as a search and rescue pilot for three years, where he undertook 156 search and rescue operations.
Following the birth of Prince George, William left operational duties with the Armed Forces.
He then retrained as an Air Ambulance Pilot and was part of the team for East Anglian Air Ambulance from 2015 to 2017.
