Lady Sarah McCorquodale, the sister of the late Princess Diana, made a notable appearance alongside the Prince of Wales at the Sovereign's Parade at RAF Cranwell on Thursday.

This appearance comes just two weeks after Lady Sarah joined both princes at the memorial service for their uncle, Sir Robert Fellowes.

It is understood that Lady Sarah wanted to support Prince William as she lives near RAF Cranwell.

Lady Sarah's involvement in these key family events suggests she may play a crucial role in fostering reconciliation between the estranged brothers.

Her potential role as a peacemaker between William and Harry has been highlighted by recent events.

In May, Sarah's siblings supported Prince Harry at the Invictus Games 10th anniversary service at St Paul's Cathedral in London.

This event, which no senior royals attended, saw Lady Jane Fellowes joined by Earl Charles Spencer and several Spencer cousins.

Lady Jane and Lady Sarah were also reported to have attended Princess Lilibet's christening in 2023.

A source told The Express: "Everyone is hoping that there might be some kind of intervention from Jane or Charles [Spencer] which will hopefully bring them back together.

"It will take some time but it is looking like a possibility."

Lady Sarah's presence at both William's RAF event and Princess Lilibet's christening demonstrates her unique position to potentially bridge the gap between the brothers.

Speculation about a potential reconciliation between William and Harry has intensified following recent family gatherings.

At Lord Robert Fellowes' memorial service, the brothers were seen together, albeit sitting apart.

A source told People that Harry's unexpected attendance left guests "astounded" but that he was "very pleased that he had come over".

The Spencer family's involvement could be key to bridging the rift.

One source noted to The Express: "There was a wake afterwards and Harry had been in the UK since Tuesday spending time with his late mother's side of the family."
