Prince William's visits to homeless centre 'feel like Prince of Wales is coming home'

The Prince of Wales's documentary on homelessness will debut on October 30 on ITV1.
The homeless centre where Prince William volunteers says it feels like he’s coming home each time he visits.
The Prince of Wales has supported at The Passage in central London since his mum Diana took him, aged 11, with Prince Harry in 1993.
CEO Mick Clarke said: “We see him as the real person.
“When he comes he is very relaxed, very chilled."

PAHe added: “I have a feeling there is sort of a family relationship there, given the history back to when he was 11.
“People who have lived with homelessness are very good at instantly sussing whether someone is straight-forward and authentic or not and Prince William just seems very comfortable.
“Quite often you will see his shoulders drop as soon as he comes in.
“It feels like he is coming home.”
Prince Wales has publicly praised his mother, Princess Diana, for inspiring him to be ambitious in his goals to tackle homelessness.
William said: "I have taken some inspiration and guidance from what my mother did, particularly with homelessness. That has grown more over the last few years.
The two-part series, filmed over 12 months, will explore the first year of the Prince of Wales Homewards programme, which aims to demonstrate that ending homelessness is possible.
The documentary focuses on six locations affected by homelessness: Aberdeen, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, Lambeth in London, Newport, Northern Ireland, and Sheffield.

The documentary also revealed that the 42-year-old speaks to his children about homelessness.
He said: "When I was very small my mother started talking about homelessness - much like I do now with my children on the school run.
"It's something that had a deep resonation with me."
The Prince of Wales's documentary, Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, will air in two parts: the first on October 30 and the second on October 31 at 9pm on ITV1.
