Kensington Palace has provided a Prince William update ahead of the Euro 2024 final.

The Palace has confirmed that the Prince of Wales, 42, will be travelling to Berlin to see England take on Spain for the prestigious Euro 2024 title.

Prince William is the President of the FA and an avid Aston Villa fan, who praised his beloved team player Ollie Watkins for scoring the winning goal during Wednesday's semi-final against The Netherlands.

It is unconfirmed whether or not Prince George, Princess Charlotte or Prince Louis will join their father in Germany for Sunday's match.

Prince George, in particular, is an avid football fan and a lover of Aston Villa, and is often seen accompanying William to Villa Park in Birmingham.

The Euros final is coinciding with the Gentlemen's Men's Singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday, meaning that William will definitely not be present.

His wife, Princess Kate, has been the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club since 2016.

The role comes with the honour of presenting prizes to the champions.

However, Kate's presence at this year's final of Wimbledon is hanging in the balance, as the princess has stepped back from public life due to her cancer treatment.

If Kate does attend, she could bring her three children along to the final if they choose not to accompany William in Berlin.

England's men's team has never won the European Football Championships, however, Spain won two back-to-back games in 2008 and 2012.

William was forced to apologise for his "hoarse" voice during an event on Thursday, due to his level of cheering at England's semi-final win.

The Three Lions beat The Netherlands with a last-minute Ollie Watkins strike on Wednesday.

Gareth Southgate's men are the first England men's team to reach a major final on foreign soil.

William described the winner as a "hell of a strike" as England came from a goal down to win 2-1.

He spent more than an hour at an event in Brixton, marking one year of his Homewards project and urging experts in the sector to tell him how best to help.
