Prince William briefly chatted with Donald Trump and President Macron on his way into the funeral of Pope Francis, Kensington Palace has confirmed.
The Prince of Wales, 42, was pictured arriving in the Vatican on Saturday morning as he paid his respects to the late Pope.
The future King wore a Navy suit and black tie for the solemn occasion.
Kensington Palace has also confirmed that Prince William met the US First Lady, Melania Trump, and Brigitte Marie-Claude Macron on his way to Pope Francis' funeral.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams previously told GB News that William was "quite the diplomat" following his meeting with Trump in December last year.
Prince William met with Trump, 78, at the official reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, where the pair exchanged warm words.
The US President, who is an open admirer of the Royal Family, praised the Prince of Wales for "doing a fantastic job" during the 2024 meeting.
Trump, who has accepted an invitation for an unprecedented state visit to the UK, hailed the future King a "good man".

The meeting lasted around 40 minutes, during which the pair shared fond memories of the late Queen and discussed a range of global issues.
William was the only member of the British Royal Family to attend the mass.
Strict protocol dictates that King Charles, in his role as Sovereign, does not attend funerals.
The Argentinian pontiff died on Easter Monday at the age of 88, triggering mourning among Roman Catholics worldwide.
