The Princess of Wales is not expected to travel to Germany this weekend

Prince William's will travel to Germany this weekend but the Princess of Wales is expected to remain in London.

William is the President of the Football Association and regularly attends England matches.


Gareth Southgate's team face Switzerland in Dusseldorf on Saturday in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024.

Kensington Palace has confirmed that the Prince of Wales will fly to Germany to support the Three Lions for Saturday's crucial match.

The royal was pictured watching England's second game of Euro 2024 against Denmark last month.

William was seen talking to the King of Denmark at the match as the teams played out a 1-1 draw.

The Prince of Wales missed England's final group stage game against Slovenia as he was supporting King Charles during the State Visit of the Emperor and Empress of Japan.

The President of the FA also missed England's dramatic 2-1 victory over Slovakia in the extra time last Sunday.

Princess Catherine is not expected to join William at the match.

Kate returned to public life with an appearance at Trooping the Colour on June 15.

The appearance ended a six-month absence from public life and was the first time she had stepped out since being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

England looked set to crash out of the tournament at the last 16 stage until Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham scored an equaliser deep into stoppage time.

Prince George could join William at the Euro 2024 quarter-final match tonight.

William took his son to watch the FA Cup Final between Manchester City and Manchester United at Wembley in May.
