Prince William met with the Estonian President Alar Karis at the Estonian Presidential on the first day of his two-day international visit to the Baltic state.
The Prince of Wales, 42, servers as Colonel-in-Chief of the Mercian Regiment.
His chief aim is to support the regiment in their work bolstering Nato's eastern flank as part of Operation Cabrit.
The visit aims to send a message about Britain's commitment to defending the Baltic states amid growing tensions with Russia.

On 31 August 2021, Karis was elected as the president of Estonia with a two-thirds majority of 72 votes in the Riigikogu and assumed the office on October 11 later that year.
The election received criticism and calls for electoral reform due to the absence of opposing candidates.
The Prince of Wales took to social media to where he recognised the "strong historic link" between the UK and Estonia.
William wrote: "Tere, Tallinn - great to be visiting Estonia for the first time!"

He added: "Looking forward to an exciting two days here, both in beautiful Tallinn and visitng British troops at Tapa camp tomorrow."
On Friday, the prince will travel to Tapa camp in his role as colonel-in-chief of the Mercian Regiment where he will oversee an official handover ceremony between The Royal Dragoon Guards and the Mercian Regiment.
Around 900 British personnel rotate on a continuous basis alongside Danish, French and Estonian forces at Tapa camp, located 100 miles from the Russian border.
After his meeting today, The Prince of Wales will visit Freedom School, established by Estonia's Ministry of Education in May 2022 in response to the war in Ukraine.

The school supports approximately 60,000 Ukrainian refugees currently living in Estonia.
William will view military equipment, visit the field training area and meet with the welfare team before attending an event to learn about renewable energy start-ups.
The visit comes day after Princess Kate attended the Irish Guards St Patrick's Day Parade in her role as Colonel of the regiment.
The Princess of Wales, who wore a dark green Alexander McQueen coat, visited the Irish Guards at Wellington Barracks for the traditional celebration on March 17.
