Prince William mentioning his brother Harry publicly for the first time in six years has created an "extraordinary question mark," according to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams.
The reference came in a new ITV documentary about homelessness, where William recalled a childhood visit to The Passage charity with Diana and Harry.
Fitzwilliams told GBN America: "William talk mentioning Harry the first time in six years. I mean, that is extraordinary."
He added: "However, it is in the context of a visit in 1993, with their mother to the passage, and it's part of William's drive against homelessness and trying to help which, of course, is admirable.

"Just mentioning Harry, It's quite extraordinary how deep the rift is.
"What it will lead to, if it leads to anything, is the huge question mark obviously."

In the documentary "Prince William: We Can End Homelessness", the Prince of Wales recounted his first visit to The Passage charity with Diana and Harry.
He said: "My mother took me to The Passage; she took Harry and I both there. I must have been 11 at the time, maybe 10."
William added: "I'd never been to anything like that before, and I was a bit anxious about what to expect.
"My mother went about her usual, making everyone feel relaxed, having a laugh and joking with everyone."

"I remember at the time kind of thinking, 'Well, if everyone doesn't have a home, they're all going to be really sad.' But it was incredible how happy an environment it was."
The relationship between William and Harry has reportedly been strained in recent years.
Sources suggest they are no longer on speaking terms, particularly since the release of Harry's memoir "Spare" last year.
At a recent Spencer family funeral, the brothers were said to have not spoken despite being in the same room.
