The Prince of Wales will travel to Singapore next month for the Earthshot Prize Awards
Prince William has written the foreword for a new children's book promoted by the Earthshot Prize, which the royal founded in 2020.
The book is titled The Earthshot Prize: A Handbook For Dreamers And Thinkers: Solutions to Repair Our Planet, and it will be released on October 12.
Jonnie Hughes and Colin Butfield wrote the book to inspire younger generations to develop solutions as they relate to climate change.
The prince, in his foreword, encouraged young people to think optimistically about the future of the planet.
William said: "The world we live in today can feel overwhelming but the biggest challenge we face will be making sure we support and celebrate the wins for our planet, large or small, that can make a difference for everyone’s future."
The 41-year-old urged readers to create their own Earthshots to protect the Earth.
He added: "Our goal with The Earthshot Prize Handbook for Dreamers and Thinkers is simple; to encourage you to think about how you can become one of these amazing people contributing to the mission to repair our planet."
The book follows on from the non-fiction work Earthshot: How to Save Our Planet, which was released in 2021.
