Prince William has been accused of dismissing King Charles's "passion" in the latest royal bombshell from Omid Scobie's upcoming book.
A French magazine has serialised several passages from the upcoming book Endgame, which is due to be released on November 28.
In one passage which the magazine Paris Match took from Endgame, Scobie discussed how King Charles was upset to not be involved in the Earthshot Prize Awards.
The author spoke about how on several occasions, the Prince of Wales spoke out without notifying his father.
William also took the cause most dear to King Charles's heart - the environment.
According to Scobie, Charles would like to have been included in the Earthshot Prize Awards, or at least acknowledged for his decades-long work fighting against climate change.
But this has not happened, according to the royal author.
He wrote: “William acted as if Charles’s passion did not exist."
Scobie also argues that the 41-year-old heir is only interested in his future.
He added: “The Prince of Wales can’t wait to ascend the throne.
“And a real impatience is created around him."
