Prince William has announced a new outing without Princess Kate.
Kensington Palace confirmed that the Prince of Wales, 42, has become co-patron of the “Jewel of Arabia Expedition”.
To celebrate this, Prince William will attend the London launch at the Royal Geographical Society on November 25.
William has become co-patron alongside His Highness Theyazin bin Haitham, Heir to the Omani throne, who will also attend the event in London.

The expedition aims to raise awareness amongst young people of the value of Oman’s natural heritage and biodiversity.
The Prince of Wales was invited by Haitham to be co-patron of the expedition to highlight the strong connections between the UK and Oman.
This is due to William’s passion for conservation and protecting the planet, themes which he explored during his 2019 trip to Oman.
At the launch event in London, followed by another event in Oman in January, William and Haitham will view artefacts linked to the original expedition, including historical maps of Oman.

William's outing comes amid Princess Kate's gradual return to royal duties.
In September, the Princess of Wales announced she had finished her course of preventative chemotherapy.
The following month, she accompanied the Prince of Wales to meet relatives of the Southport stabbing victims in a surprise outing.
Kate later attended two events for Remembrance Day - the Festival of Remembrance and the service at the Cenotaph.
