The Prince of Wales was joined by Homewards Advocate Steven Bartlett during the visit to Aberdeen

Prince William has visited Aberdeen Foyer to launch a new partnership between his Homewards initiative and recruitment experts Hays.

The collaboration aims to create employment pathways for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness across all six Homewards locations.


The Prince's visit highlights the programme's focus on tackling homelessness through employment opportunities.

Bartlett has committed to showcase the positive role businesses can have in efforts to end homelessness.

The partnership builds on the existing Project Flourish programme, created in 2022 by Hays and EveryYouth charity.

Launched in 2023, Homewards is a five-year programme that aims to demonstrate it is possible to end homelessness.

The initiative works to make homelessness rare, brief, and unrepeated.

Now in its delivery phase, the programme is working with 'Activator' partners that can support the delivery of each location's Action Plan.
