The Prince of Wales spoke about the Hama-Gaza war
Nigel Farage has said he believes the Prince of Wales has made ‘a big mistake’ with his comments about the fighting in Gaza, warning that some in the international community may view it as giving Hamas ‘a free pass’.
Speaking on GB News, said: “We’ve been a constitutional monarchy since the late 17th century and part of that deal is that the monarch or indeed the close, immediate royal family should not interfere with politics that in any way could be seen to affect individual parties.
“Perhaps one of the most classic cases in the 20th century was Edward VIII who, during his brief reign, went down to Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales and met thousands of people who'd lost their jobs in the steel industry."
