Kate and William's young children feature throughout the Princess of Wales's video message

Prince Louis and Prince George's voices were heard during Princess Kate's video message on Monday.

The Princess of Wales confirmed in an emotional new video message alongside Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis that she has completed her chemotherapy treatment.


Kate and William can be seen playing with their three young children in the woods, on the beach and in the sea during the emotional video as the Princess of Wales provides an update on her cancer battle.

In a rare moment, the voices of Kate and William's sons can be heard in the video.

George is seen staring at the lens of the camera before asking "Is this filming?".

Prince Louis then enters the frame to say: "Hello!" while their sister Princess Charlotte laughs.

The Princess of Wales outlined in the video that her priority is to "stay cancer free" as she continues her recovery.

Kate also confirmed that she will return to work soon and is planning to undertake several engagements between now and the end of the year.

GB News understands King Charles and Queen Camilla think the announcement is "wonderful news" and will continue to offer love, thoughts and support to The Princess of Wales during her path to full recovery.

King Charles was also diagnosed with cancer this year.

The monarch took a short break from undertaking public duties following the diagnosis but returned to work in April 2024.

Kate said in her statement that "the last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family" in a rare insight into how the Royal Family have coped during this challenging period.

In a statement read out in the video, Kate says: "As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.

"The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.

"The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you."

She added: "Despite all that has gone before, I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life.

"William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time."
