Prince Louis and Prince George wear matching ties as Princess Charlotte joins them for Kate's carol service

Princess Kate arrived at Westminster Abbey ahead of her husband and children as she greeted guests.

The Princess of Wales was wearing an Alexander McQueen red coat for the occasion.

The event is seen as one of Kate's most iconic appearances in the royal calendar.

This is the fourth year in a row the Princess of Wales is hosting the service which was founded in 2021.

Despite joining his wife and children at the event, Prince William will rush to France on Saturday for another important engagement.

The Prince of Wales will travel to Paris to attend the reopening ceremony of Notre-Dame Cathedral, representing the United Kingdom.

This is the second year in a row all three of the Prince and Princess of Wales's children have attended the event.

Prince George and Prince Louis wore matching suits while Princess Charlotte wore a burgundy coat that closely resembled the Alexander McQueen outfit her mother wore.

Kate's siblings Pippa and James Middleton both attended the service.

They were joined by George, Charlotte and Louis' grandmother Carole Middleton.

Prince William's cousin Princess Beatrice also attended the event with her husband Edoardo.

The royal couple were joined by Edoardo's son and Beatrice's stepson Christopher Woolf for the second year in a row.

William and Beatrice's cousin Zara Tindall was also pictured arriving at Westminster Abbey.

King Charles and Queen Camilla were not present for Kate's Christmas Carol Service.
