Prince Louis wore a bargain shirt in his new “unedited” photo released for his sixth birthday.
A “new unedited image” was taken in the last few days in Windsor by Princess Kate and posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s social media account on Tuesday.
In the photo, the prince lies down on the grass grinning into the camera wearing a cute pinstriped shirt.
The ‘Camel Check Oliver Shirt’ is selling on Trotters website for a sale price of £25, originally sold for £50.
Trotters is a British, family-owned children’s clothing brand founded by Sophie Mirman and her husband Richard Ross.
The shirt, which is designed in England and made in Europe, is made from 100 per cent cotton and is available in several colours.
The website describes the clothing as a “classic shirt for boys” which features a “more relaxed, non-button down collar and is perfect for layering under sweaters and jumpers as the weather turns cooler.”
Prince Louis is also wearing blue trousers to match the blue and brown striped shirt.
Kate and William are understood to have been keen to share a new image of their youngest son on their social media accounts to thank the public for their birthday wishes.
They captioned the post: “Happy 6th Birthday, Prince Louis! Thank you for all the kind wishes today.”
Royal fans rushed to wish Louis a Happy Birthday and send their best wishes to the family.
One supporter said: “How precious! What a cute lovely smile! Happy 6th birthday Prince Louis. Thanks for sharing a new photo with us princess.”

Another commented: “There’s so much personality in his face!”
The photo of Prince Louis broke tradition by not being released the night before his birthday like in previous years.
Last month, Kate caused controversy by admitting she posted an edited photograph of her family to mark Mother’s Day.
The photograph was pulled from several photo agencies leaving the princess to apologise for any “confusion” on social media.
