Harry is said to be in a 'strange unfamiliar world which grows increasingly unfriendly'

Prince Harry is "finding the days long and lonely" in his new life with Meghan Markle as the "glamour begins to wear off", a royal commentator has said.

Tom Quinn claims Harry is struggling with the US lifestyle which has grown "increasingly unfriendly" for the Duke.

It comes as the couple face possible disruption to their lives with the anticipation of Donald Trump being voted in as president.

Quinn says the Sussexes have pursued legal advice amid concerns Trump may return which could affect Harry's residency status after he admitted to taking drugs.

The Duke revealed that he had taken magic mushrooms and cannabis in his memoir, Spare.

Think tank group, The Heritage Foundation has launched a lawsuit against the Biden administration to force Harry's visa documents to be made public.

"Harry initially thought this couldn't possibly happen to him as the normal rules don't apply to a Royal Prince, but he is increasingly realising that in the United States being a Prince doesn't actually count for very much," Quinn told The Mirror.

"But one thing is for sure Harry deeply regrets ever making his drug-taking public.

"Harry has never done any of these practical things, so after he's taken the dog for a walk in the morning, he finds the day long and lonely."

Quinn added that Meghan is in her "natural environment" compared to Harry who is in a "strange unfamiliar world which grows increasingly unfriendly."

Prince Harry and Meghan moved to the US in 2020 after quitting their roles as senior royals.

The couple now live in Montecito, California with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
