Prince Harry's surprise visit to Ukraine has left his brother Prince William frustrated and angry at Palace officials, according to insiders.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, met wounded soldiers in Lviv last Thursday, while William has been denied permission to make a similar trip.
Security concerns are said to have prevented the Prince of Wales from visiting the wartorn nation, despite his keen interest in doing so.
William did visit Estonia last month, where he donned combat gear and a beret when meeting troops at a Nato base just 90 miles from Russia.

The Prince of Wales took part in trench warfare training exercises and travelled in a Challenger 2 tank.
Meanwhile, Harry toured the Superhumans Centre in Lviv, meeting adults and children injured since the war began in 2022.
Palace sources revealed William had "long-hoped" to visit Ukraine and was "rankled" by Harry's appearance there.
Security officials are reported to have "firmly rejected" the prospect of William visiting Ukraine, which has been under Russian invasion since February 2022.

The Prince of Wales is said to have voiced his frustration to Kensington Palace staff who urged him against travelling to the war-torn country.
The two brothers have been increasingly estranged since Harry and Meghan quit frontline royal duties and moved to the US in January 2020.
Harry's memoir "Spare" published in 2023, detailed disputes between the siblings, including an allegation that William pushed him into a dog bowl during a row over Meghan.
The book also claimed William teased Harry about his panic attacks.
