Prince Harry missed his close friend's wedding in London due to security fears, a source has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex was notably absent from Lord Charles Vivian's wedding at the weekend, despite the pair's close friendship.
Lord Vivian, 58, who was part of Harry's 'band of brothers' at his Windsor Castle wedding, married US compliance director Saweda Kamara at Chelsea Old Town Hall.
The newlyweds held their reception at The Nomad hotel, which is housed in the former Bow Street magistrates' court and police station.

Lord Vivian confirmed that Harry was invited to the celebration.
When asked why the duke did not attend, Lord Vivian told reporters: "I don't know. He has a lot on."
However, a source close to the royal has now explained why did not attend the wedding.
The source outlined that the "the main reason" for Harry's absence was "security wasn't provided for the visit, which makes attending events or moving around the UK very challenging".

The relationship between Harry and Lord Vivian runs deep. Mark Dyer, a former Welsh Guards officer and close friend of Harry's, introduced the pair.
Harry's absence was particularly notable as he served as an usher at Vivian's first wedding to Elizabeth Wimpress.
This is not the first wedding of a close friend that Harry has missed. In 2023, he skipped Jack Mann's nuptials in Suffolk.

Prince Harry arrived at the court on Tuesday morning around 9:30am as his appeal against a ruling on the level of security he is afforded in Britain began.
The second day of the hearing will take place today.
The judgement following the hearing will be issued in writing at a later date.
