Prince Harry texted the Sentebale chair a pivotal question, new reports have alleged.
It was previously reported that the Duke of Sussex sent an "unpleasant" and "imperious" text message to Dr Sophie Chandauka.
However, the Mail has claimed Prince Harry, 40, texted Dr Chandauka: "How are you going to deal with this?"
The royal is understood to have been keen for Dr Chandauka to deal with a public debacle involving his wife, Meghan, who was accused of snubbing the chair at a fundraising polo match.

Sources told the publication the text "would reinforce other people's ideas that he is used to people being subservient to him."
The text message allegedly came after a series of disagreements regarding a charity polo match in Miami last year.
Chandauka claims the polo match was derailed when Harry insisted on bringing a Netflix film crew to shoot scenes for a documentary, which she believes resulted in the charity losing the venue.
However, sources close to the production crew told GB News they were already filming a polo documentary featuring Nacho Figueras, and reached out through the chair to request permission to film at the event.

They added that Sentebale benefited from the coverage and was positively featured in the resulting documentary series, Polo.
During a prize-giving ceremony, cameras captured what sources described as a "highly awkward" exchange where Dr Chandauka was seemingly elbowed out by the Duchess of Sussex.
It is alleged that Harry then asked Chandauka to make a statement "in support of the duchess," which she refused. She maintained it was important that the charity wasn't seen as an "extension of the Sussexes".
This stance was partly due to Harry's decision to quit the Royal Family, which had reportedly been problematic for the charity in terms of decision-making and attracting sponsors.
Sources say Chandauka believed there was a "strong principle" at stake, that it would be wrong to confuse the charity's objectives with Harry's personal "brand".
A source close to the trustees described Chandauka's recent claims as attempts at "deflecting from the serious matters at play here".
They questioned whether she is acting "in the best interests of the charity" and if so, "why is she using her platform to target Prince Harry specifically?"
LATEST ROYAL NEWS:
A source close to the Netflix production team called the claimed version of events "misleading" and said video of Meghan and Chandauka on stage has been "misrepresented" and "weaponised".
Trustees and patrons reportedly "fully expected this publicity stunt" and remain "firm in their resignation, for the good of the charity".
GB News reached out to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's representatives for comment.
