Prince Harry suffers blow as Mike Tindall goes head-to-head with Duke of Sussex

Coinciding with this release, Mike Tindall, husband of Harry's cousin Zara, is set to publish his own book, "The Good, The Bad & The Rugby - Unleashed". Both books are due to be available in the UK on October 24.

Mike's book offers insights into his experience of joining the Royal Family, which he describes as "pretty easy", contrasting sharply with Meghan's difficulties.

His book, co-authored with Alex Payne and James Haskell, promises to delve into "the highs and lows their podcast, friendship and rugby."

Mike wrote: "Wherever he is, he'll sit down and watch that game," referring to Prince George's enthusiasm for football. He also revealed playing football with the young prince "numerous times in the garden."

The former rugby player's close relationship with the royals is evident, as he affectionately describes Princess Kate's love for running and the family's overall sporting interests.

While Harry's memoir caused controversy with its revelations about the Royal Family, Mike's book appears to offer a more positive perspective.

Harry's decision not to add new content to the paperback edition of "Spare" might be seen as an olive branch to his estranged family.

However, the timing of its release alongside Mike's book could reignite public interest in royal dynamics.
