"While non-profits play a vital role in addressing social issues, it's clearly not enough in today's world," Harry said.
He called for a dual approach: supporting philanthropic organisations while investing in companies developing technological solutions.
The Duke stressed the importance of addressing root causes rather than symptoms of societal problems.
