Prince Harry has been mocked by Carole Malone, after reports claim King Charles has ‘not got time in his diary’ to see his second son on his visit to the UK.
Speaking on Britain’s Newsroom, the broadcaster criticised the Duke of Sussex ahead of his appearance at the WellChild awards in London.
Carole said: “He's offered up loads of time in the past, now he's just snubbed him publicly. I think it's up there having just slagged them all off again a few weeks ago, I think it's quite right. Charles should take a stand.
“I think it's up to Harry now if he wants to make reparations, he has to actually make the effort himself, and he's going to be kicking around London because once he's done these WellChild awards, all the family are either in Balmoral or they're travelling about.
“So who's he going to see, he's going to be in a hotel on his own? This has to be over surely, this marriage, doesn't it?
Malone continued, discussing Meghan Markle’s absence from the UK trip: “She was due to have like a presenting role in the Invictus Games - last year if you remember, she introduced him and said, you know, ‘meet my fantastic husband’ and all that.
“And she's not gonna be doing that. She might not even be there, that's the suggestion. Certainly the presenting role is now being withdrawn. But I just think, you know, these are all things that are close to his heart. And if you're not there to support your husband or men, it's not looking good for the marriage, is it?”
