Prince Harry looks set to lose a prestigious role as a result of being evicted from Frogmore Cottage by King Charles.
The King's youngest son is currently one of four Councillors of State that can stand in for the King in his absence alongside Prince William, Prince Andrew and Princess Beatrice.
However, by stripping the Duke of Sussex of a residence in the UK, it could result in Harry no longer being a Councillor of State, a royal commentator has explained.
Rafe Heydel-Mankoo told GB News: "It appears that it was the publication of Spare, Harry's vulgar memoir that issued these violent attacks on Queen Camilla that was the final straw for His Majesty.

"The King and the Royal Family are not allowed to rebut or respond to this viral nonsense from Sussex.
"What the King has done here, it is sort of the equivalent of a government declaring a diplomat persona non grata.
"When an ambassador is declared persona non grata, they lose their residence and they lose their privileges and they have to leave the nation.
"And that's essentially what the King has done to Prince Harry, this is quite a masterstroke."
He continued: "The practical reality is that he's not only evicted them from Frogmore, by losing Frogmore, they've lost their royal roles... and essentially potentially been evicted from Britain.
"Because Harry's now lost his domicile status in the UK and what that means constitutionally is that he can no longer be a Councillor of State.
"A Councillor of State is a very important constitutional role, which means when the sovereign, the King is incapacitated or abroad, there are four senior royals who can fulfil certain functions of the King.
"And Prince Harry has been one of those Councillors of State, but without any UK domicile, he's been very publicly and unceremoniously stripped of that."
The royal commentator said: "But also the other thing is by losing Frogmore, he's now lost royal protection police officers and security detail, which means that he now feels that his only safe space in the UK has been denied him.
"And we've heard them say repeatedly and has been reportedly said by his supporters like Omid Scobie over the past couple of days that they now may limit their number of trips to the UK if they would come to the coronation. We'll see.

"So by losing Frogmore they've lost their raw role and potentially they've been evicted from Britain too."
Dr Craig Prescott, an expert in UK constitutional law at Bangor University, shared a similar view with Yahoo News: "If he is no longer domiciled in the UK, then Prince Harry could lose his 'status' (for want of a better word) as a Counsellor of State.
"Prince Harry’s domicile of origin is British, and generally it is very difficult as a matter of UK law to replace domicile of origin with a domicile of choice. In this case, it would be the United States.
"To do this, he has [to] show a genuine commitment to remain in the US, at least indefinitely or permanently, and have no intention for his main home to be anywhere else.
"If Prince Harry loses his lease of Frogmore House, then it’s easier for this argument to be made."
