In 2024, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stopped taking swipes at the Royal Family and instead focussed on building out their careers and personal brands.
However, Prince Harry's relationship with senior royals has not recovered since the attacks in his autobiography and a royal commentator has claimed the Duke of Sussex could be running out of time to heal the rift.
King Charles was diagnosed with cancer at the start of the year and is continuing to receive treatment.
The King is seen as far more likely to forgive Prince Harry than Prince William who will inherit the throne when Charles dies.

Royal commentator Emily Andrews claimed Harry may have thought he would have around 20 years to mend his feud with senior royals but in reality, it could be a much shorter timeframe.
She wrote for Woman: "Speaking to sources close to Harry, it is clear that he is tired of playing a bit part in a narrative of family conflict, and would like nothing more than to recover his reputation and become known, in time, as a serious player in the philanthropic world."
The royal commentator added that Harry thought he "would have a long time to make up with his dad" but King Charles’s ongoing cancer treatment may have "changed that potential time frame".
Andrews concluded that "there can be no meaningful rehabilitation" between the Duke of Sussex and the Royal Family.
