Model and socialite Lady Victoria Hervey has claimed that Prince Harry has been "protected" by his wife Meghan Markle and her "deep state" ties to politics.
The Duke of Sussex is under fire over his US visa application after American conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation launched legal action in an attempt to have official documents made public.
They claim Harry has either lied about his previous drug use on his visa application or has been given special treatment by the US government.
In his memoir Spare, which was released last year, the prince admitted to taking drugs including magic mushrooms and cocaine.

The Biden administration has so far refused to make Prince Harry's visa application public but his Republican rival Donald Trump has vowed that Harry will be treated "the same as any other US citizen" if he were elected, meaning that Prince could face deportation.
According to the model, the reason that US President Joe Biden has allowed the prince to stay in the country is because of "Meghan's ties to the deep state".
She explained: "I know under President Biden he is protected because of Meghan Markle's ties with the deep state Democrats.
Speaking to GBN America, Lady Victoria said: "But I think once Biden's out he needs to watch out a little bit more because it's going to be quite embarrassing if that if it does transpire that he has lied. And if Trump does win.
"It is just a bit embarrassing I think at this point. The story has sort of continued and continued. I think people look at him as a bit silly."
Earlier, when discussing if the duke should be able to stay in the country she explained: "I think there are two sides to this right now and one is saying that he may have made it up [for his book.]

"I mean, I don't know if this is his legal counsel telling him this but that could be a new idea for him to get out of it.
"They could say that he's actually made it up to sell books, which people might think 'oh yeah. But why would he do that?'
"He's done all these like he's done all these TV interviews talking about how he had to do ayahuasca.
"My experience of that is I haven't done ayahuasca, but my friends that have done it and have dealt with drug issues in their past.
"They see ayahuasca as the last frontier, in a way, of what they can do to help addiction."
Prince Harry’s visa application is currently being reviewed in private.
