Meghan Markle will not join Prince Harry at the historic ceremony

The Duke of Sussex will look to his cousins Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall for support at the Coronation, according to a royal commentator.

Kinsey Schofield stated that the more junior members of the Royal Family will speak to "exiled" Prince Harry, as the Duke of Sussex has a frosty relationship with several senior royals.

Schofield said: "The King does want his youngest son to experience such a significant moment in his life.

"It was Charles’s wish that Prince Harry attend."

Speaking to told Fox News, she added: "Duty is still a priority to Harry, and he feels like it is his responsibility to attend.

"That being said, expect familiar and friendly characters like cousins Zara Tindall and Princess Eugenie to make small talk with the 'exiled' prince."

It comes as a royal commentator told GB News that there may be tension between King Charles's wife Camilla and Prince Harry at the ceremony.

Earlier this year Prince Harry launched several attacks on Camilla in his autobiography Spare.

Jennie Bond told GB News: “Harry's going to make a fleeting visit for the Coronation.

“It's not beyond the bounds of possibility that he will fly straight out after the ceremony and get back to California just about in time to celebrate late in the day with his little son, Archie, whose fourth birthday it is.

“It is certainly going to be a quick visit and an awkward one.

“I mean, who wouldn't be hurt by being called a villain, by being accused as Camilla was, of leaking stories to the press which she didn't leak.”

She continued: “And of course, [Camilla] will be polite to be courteous, I assume Harry will be as well, but it's not going to be an easy weekend.”

The royal commentator also backed Prince Harry not to attend the lunch after the ceremony, instead rushing back to the US to be with his son Archie on his fourth birthday.

Bond said: “He is not going to attend the lunch afterwards, as far as we know and we're told that maybe a place will be set in case he changes his mind.

“I don't think he'll change his mind. I actually think he will head straight back to California, probably within a couple of hours of ripping off his suit or whatever he's wearing and getting into his jeans and off he goes back to California. It's not going to happen.”
