Prince Harry's "convenient" blame on the tabloid media for the breakdown of his relationship with the Royal Family shows his "personal vendetta", it has been claimed.
The Duke of Sussex made a series of fresh claims in a bombshell new interview with ITV, as part of their investigative documentary Tabloids on Trial.
Among the claims, Harry told ITV that his legal battle with several tabloid papers was a "central piece" of his fallout with the Royal Family.
The Duke also branded it "too dangerous" for his wife Meghan Markle to return to the UK, admitting fears for her security.
Prince Harry has been criticised for his 'convenient' blame on the media for his royal rift

Discussing the latest interview on GB News, Vanity Fair's Royal Editor Katie Nicholl highlighted how the Prince's latest attacks on the media "feel personal" and it is clear the royal has an "axe to grind".
Nicholl said: "He is going above and beyond in terms of taking on the British tabloids and pursuing them through the courts.
"He's the only senior royal to have pursued the British tabloids through the high courts, and the most interesting in that documentary was hearing him speak about his 'monumental' victory."
Offering her verdict on Harry's remarks about his relationship with the Royal Family, Nicholl noted the "convenience" of the prince to blame the media, despite his public criticism of the monarchy since moving to America with wife Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry told ITV he will 'not be bringing Meghan back to the UK' over security fears

Nicholl explained: "It feels a little bit convenient to hear Prince Harry blame the tabloids for this rift at the heart of the House of Windsor.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"We know he's fallen out with his brother, there's no communication between him and William. He doesn't really speak to his father anymore - you can't lay all of that on the British tabloids."
Comparing Prince Harry's legal battles with the media to Prince William, who settled his own grievances out of court, Nicholl claimed that King Charles had "warned" the duke about pursuing the media so publicly.
Nicholl said: "The King has warned against it and said to Harry, this would be something of a suicide mission trying to take on the British media, because of course the King hasn't done that and Prince William has not done that.
"It feels very much like Harry is the one driving this, it does feel personal. He put himself out there as someone that's going to try and quash all misinformation and is taking on this crusade against the British press. But of course, he does that from a vantage point in Montecito in California. And so we'll have to see how it pans out."

Delivering his verdict on the documentary, host Stephen Dixon argued that the latest in Harry's media interviews is "another round of the international privacy tour".
Stephen told Nicholl: "The fact he was in the documentary at all last night - why aren't they just staying out of the limelight now? If they've fallen out with all these people, they don't like the press, they don't like the attention, they want to get away from it all.
"And yet here we are hearing from him again, and he knows full well it's going to be across all the papers, it's going to be on shows like ours, it's going to get everywhere."
Nicholl then argued: "This is something he's completely passionate about - some might say almost to the point of an obsession with wanting to see change.
"I'm sure he'd like to see it go all the way and potentially become another criminal investigation, but I just don't think he's going to rest on this."
