The Duke of Sussex will undertake multiple engagements in New York next month

Prince Harry has outlined four organisations close to his heart that he plans to undertake engagements with during his solo trip next month.

The Duke of Sussex will head to New York during UN General Assembly High-level Week and Climate Week.

Climate Week starts on September 22 and ends on September 29, while High-level Week begins on September 23 and runs until September 27.

During a statement confirming the trip, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex named four organisations that Harry will represent in New York.

The spokesperson said: "He will participate in engagements with African Parks, The HALO Trust, The Diana Award, and Travalyst."

The Duke of Sussex has strong ties with all four organisations and has represented them individually at many events.

Prince Harry will also be promoting the work of his and Meghan's organisation Archewell.

The spokesperson added that Harry will be in New York to "advance a number of his patronages and philanthropic initiatives."

Prince Harry is a board member of the African Parks Network.

In 2023, after serving six years as President, he was elevated to an officially appointed member of the Board of Directors, the governing body of the organisation.

In September 2019, Prince Harry followed in his mother's footsteps by visiting HALO’s Angola programme during his trip to Africa.

The Diana Awards were set up in recognition of Prince Harry's mother Princess Diana and the organisation marked its 25th anniversary earlier this year.

The Duke of Sussex founded Travalyst in 2019 prior to stepping down as a working member of the Royal Family.

Travalyst is a not-for-profit global coalition of some of the biggest names in travel and technology.

As well as being the founder of the company, the Duke of Sussex is also a patron of Travalyst.

Prince Harry also founded Archewell, alongside his wife Meghan Markle after stepping back from their roles as working royals.

The Archewell Foundation simply describes its mission as "show up, do good" on its official website.
