Prince Harry has been hit with a second blow by the Royal Family, just hours after touching down in the UK.
The youngest son of the King is in the country to attend a thanksgiving service at St Paul's Cathedral today which marks ten years of his Invictus Games.
It was announced yesterday that Harry would not be meeting with his father this week due to the King' "full programme" of engagements. But hours later a second snub was confirmed.
Just two hours after landing in the UK from California it was revealed that next week Prince William will be made Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps.

Prince Harry was formerly attached to the regiment for his second tour of Afghanistan until 2014.
The decision for William to take charge of his brother's old regiment was announced last August, but eyebrows have been raised at the decision to confirm the date the he would take on responsibility so soon after the Duke of Sussex landed in Britain.
"Timing is everything," a source told The Sun.
The ceremony will take place next Monday at the Army Aviation Centre in Middle Wallop, Hants.
Prince William will formally take control of Prince Harry's old regiment next week
GettyThe King will walk to the control tower and than hand over control of the regiment - which he had been Colonel-in-Chief of for 31 years - to his son.
The Prince of Wales will then receive a briefing on the Corps’ work.
He will also watch a training drill and take controls of the Apache for a flight.
Yesterday a spokesman for the Duke of Sussex said that Harry was "understanding" of the King's busy diary and his inability to meet this week.
King Charles was said to be too busy to meet with Prince Harry during his visit this week
GettyThe spokesman said: “In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not The Duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme.
“The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”
The Duke arrived in the UK on his own, with Meghan Markle having stayed in the US.
The Duchess opted to remain in California but will join her husband for an overseas trip to Nigeria later this week.
