The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their first public appearance of 2024 together at Jamaican premier

A new video has emerged of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle looking tense as they walk to their seats several rows back at the premier for a Bob Marley biopic.

A clip taken from X/Twitter shows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex being ushered down the aisle and directed into their seats at a premiere in Kingston, Jamaica.

In the video, Harry, 39, looks sedate as he walks behind Meghan who paused briefly and nodded as the usher pointed out their seats several rows from the front of the theatre.

The duchess holds up her custom-made full-bodied black skirt, designed for her by Venezuelan fashion designer, Carolina Herrera, as she sits.

Prince Harry and Meghan made their first appearance of 2024 together at the premiere for the upcoming film, Bob Marley: One love on Tuesday.

In another video, Meghan leans in to talk to Harry before he gets up out of his chair and walks back up the aisle. As he leaves, Meghan turns and gently smiles toward her neighbour.

At the premiere, Harry and Meghan chatted with famous people like Jamaican PM, Andrew Holness, and Ziggy Marley, the son of Bob and Rita Marley.

Another photo taken inside the premier shows Meghan turning around gesturing to someone while Harry looks down into the row without smiling.

In the image, the duchess wears £2,500 gold, circular earrings with her hair pulled back into a low, elegant bun.

The mother-of-two paired the full-bodied maxi skirt, which cinched at the waist, with a simple black body suit with spaghetti straps.

Harry opted for a more casual but matching look with a black suit and open neck white shirt revealing a black necklace.

As the duchess walks to her seat she holds her classic Jimmy Choo Black ‘J Box’ clutch which retails at £824, according to the royalfashionpolice Instagram account.

The clutch is one of Meghan’s staple pieces which she has been seen holding at other events like the thanksgiving service on ANZAC day in London in 2018.

The black bag is trimmed with gold and has an optional simple gold strap that can sit over the shoulder- although Meghan opted to hold onto the clutch on Tuesday.

This was Harry and Meghan’s second trip to Jamaica as a couple- they travelled to the country in 2017 to attend the wedding of Harry’s friend, Tom Inskip.

Prince Harry also visited Jamaica alone as part of the Diamond Jubilee royal tour in 2012 where he “raced” with Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt.
