Harry and Meghan have 'cut all ties with Royal Family' as Princess Eugenie friendship under spotlight

The couple are not on speaking terms with Princess Kate and Prince William.

However, they maintain a strong bond with Harry's cousin Princess Eugenie.

Royal commentator Jennie Bond also took a swipe at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's mooted partnership with Kim Kardashian.

Bond said: "They seem to have cut all ties with the Royal Family - except for Princess Eugenie - so it seems inevitable that they will now embrace lives as La La Land celebs.

"Personally I think it would be ludicrous and rather demeaning to appear in the Kardashians.

"I think they are better than that."

It comes as the Sussexes' friendship with Princess Eugenie is under a spotlight in the Royal Family.

However, earlier this month an insider claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's close relationship with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie is "concerning" members of the Royal Family.

The insider told Heat Magazine: "For the King, Camilla, and the Waleses, it's rather unfortunate that Eugenie and Beatrice are so close with the Sussexes."

They added: "[Beatrice and Eugenie are] still privy to a lot of what's happening inside Buckingham Palace, so there's a concern about what they're telling them, and what they could reveal - even unintentionally".

Last week, a family friend of the Yorks said Princess Eugenie has remained Prince Harry's "bridge" to the Royal Family.

Dr Anthony Wallersteiner said: "I think for Harry, Eugenie is his go-to royal.

"I think those cousins are very close, which is good, and I think Eugenie acts as a bridge between Harry and the rest of the family, which is really useful to have."
