Prince Harry is showing unwavering support for his wife Meghan's upcoming Netflix venture whilst harbouring concerns about a potential Royal Family fallout, a source has claimed.

An insider told Closer that the Duke of Sussex is "incredibly supportive" of Meghan's new cooking show and consistently expresses his pride in her achievements.

However, the source also claimed that Harry remains anxious about how his family might react to her latest projects.

The Netflix show marks Meghan's first solo project under the couple's streaming deal.

"The only downside for him is that he does worry about how his family is going to react," the source explained.

Meghan's new series, "With Love, Meghan", was announced alongside her return to social media after a five-year hiatus.

The duchess launched her Instagram account @meghan at the start of 2025.

Her debut post featured her running along a beach before drawing "2025" in the sand.

The post was followed by her Netflix series announcement, where Meghan wrote: "I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it."

Her Instagram presence has already garnered significant attention, amassing 1.4 million followers.

The source continued to tell Closer: "The Netflix show and business endeavours are one thing, but if Meghan elects to hit out at her critics back in the UK, for example, it would undoubtedly trigger a fresh firestorm of controversy.

"There's still a deep fascination in America about what precisely went wrong between the Sussexes and the royals, and at some point, it seems inevitable that Meghan will want to set the record straight."

This underlying situation "most certainly causes Harry a lot of underlying anxiety," according to the source.

The duchess appears to be embarking on an ambitious year of projects and public engagement.

Industry insiders suggest this Netflix series is just the beginning of Meghan's planned ventures for 2025.

The 43-year-old royal is reportedly being courted for a potential memoir deal.
