Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's neighbour has opened up on being snubbed outside their Montecito mansion.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their $14.5million house in 2020 and currently live there with their two children Archie and Lilibet.
Frank McGinity, an 88-year-old US Navy veteran and Meghan and Harry's neighbour said that he had tried to welcome the couple with a gift.
In a chapter of his memoir, Get Off Your Street, McGinity wrote: "I have a big house next to Harry and Meghan’s property and I live in the guest house while renting the main house out on Airbnb."
The couple moved to California following a short spell in Canada and have lived there for the last three years.

He continued: "Harry and Meghan live on old McCormick property and I went up to their gate with the films on a CD, but they weren’t interested."
McGinity said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's security guard turned him away outside the gates of the property.
He wrote: "The gate guy turned me away and wouldn’t take the film, just saying ‘they’re not interested.’ I was trying to be neighbourly."
McGinity added: "We don’t see them very much around here. It’s surprising they came here. People are typically older."
The couple moved to California following a short spell in Canada and have lived there for the last three years.
Since departing the Royal Family, the Sussexes have launched multiple public attacks on the monarchy.
The Duke of Sussex released his autobiography in January 2023 and took part in several TV interviews, where he was critical of the Royal Family, to promote the book.
Prince Harry took swipes at Camilla, Princess Kate and his brother Prince William in his memoir titled Spare.

A source has claimed that Meghan Markle regrets not taking a more active role in Spare

A source has claimed that Meghan Markle regrets not taking a more active role in the book as the couple has been labelled "professional whinners" off the back of its release.
The source told Heat: "Meghan can now see that, whether it's fair or not, they are being viewed as these professional whiners and it's not as simple as her distancing herself, because she has to be seen as fully supportive of Harry.
"She's now regretting that she wasn't more hands-on or involved when he was putting his book together.
"This theory that she micromanaged what he wrote or had any say in the manuscript is totally wrong – it was Harry's book and she let him get on with it.
"The same went for his interviews and promo tours – that was evidenced by the fact she let him do those by himself and made a point not to interfere."
