Prince Harry and Meghan remain silent on King Charles's birthday despite Kate and William's message

Earlier today, the Prince and Princess of Wales wished the King a happy birthday publicly on social media.

The couple wrote on X: "Wishing a very Happy Birthday to His Majesty The King!"

King Charles is treating his birthday as a normal working day and has carried out an engagement in London today.

The monarch opened a Coronation Food Hub to mark the project's first anniversary.

Prince William also undertook royal duties today as he travelled to Northern Ireland.

The Prince of Wales carried out two key engagements focused on tackling youth homelessness and supporting the creative industries sector.

Harry and Meghan may send a public birthday message to the King later today.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not publicly acknowledge the monarch's milestone 75th birthday in 2023.

According to reports, the King did receive a call from his youngest son to mark the occasion last year.

Prince Harry's intention to call his father on his birthday in 2023 was made public.

Despite this, the Sussexes opted against making a public tribute to the King as their feud with the Royal Family remains ongoing.

A source told The Sun regarding the call: "The King was extremely busy but is polite and loves his son and his grandchildren, and not so mean that he would not take a call on his birthday."

Prince Harry last saw his father in February 2024 just days after Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles had been diagnosed with cancer.

Meghan has not visited the UK since Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in September 2022.
