Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's special link with Halloween and Princess Eugenie

The theme allowed Prince Harry to wear a disguise and blend in with the other people at the gathering.

Prince Harry wrote fondly about the party in his autobiography Spare which was released in January 2023.

Harry said: "If that’s the Apocalypse, I thought, bring on the end of the world."

He added: "The party was loud, dark, drunk — ideal.

"Several people did double-takes as Meg passed through the rooms, but no one looked twice at her dystopian date.

"I wished I could wear this disguise every day. I wished I could reuse it the next day and visit her on the set of Suits."

Princess Eugenie is known to be the closest member of the Royal Family to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Eugenie was the first person in the Firm that Harry introduced Meghan to when they began dating.

Since then Eugenie and her husband James Brooksbank have maintained a strong bond with the couple.

According to a royal commentator, Harry and Meghan have cut all ties with the Royal Family apart from their friendship with Princess Eugenie.

Jennie Bond said: "They seem to have cut all ties with the Royal Family - except for Princess Eugenie - so it seems inevitable that they will now embrace lives as La La Land celebs.

The Sussexes' friendship with Princess Eugenie is under a spotlight in the Royal Family, a source claimed.

The insider told Heat Magazine: "For the King, Camilla, and the Waleses, it's rather unfortunate that Eugenie and Beatrice are so close with the Sussexes."

They added: "[Beatrice and Eugenie are] still privy to a lot of what's happening inside Buckingham Palace, so there's a concern about what they're telling them, and what they could reveal - even unintentionally".
