Prince Harry and Meghan's close friend sends message to Duchess of Sussex amid meeting with Zara Tindall

The double announcement marks a significant moment for the duchess, who has kept a relatively low profile on social media platforms in recent years.

Delfina Blaquier was one of Meghan's high-profile friends to take to Instagram to pay tribute to the Duchess of Sussex following the announcement.

Blaquier wrote: "Congrats for the love and hard work you put into this project of yours.

"So grateful to be part of it – I can't wait to see all you have to share."

It comes as Prince Harry's cousin Zara Tindall and her husband Mike were seen warmly greeting Blaquier and polo player Nacho Figueras at an event in Australia this week.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are known to be close with Blaquier and Figueras, with the latter staring in Prince Harry's recent Netflix project 'Polo'.

Zara has served as patron of Magic Millions since 2012, marking over a decade of dedication to the prestigious event and Blaquier is also an ambassador of the event.

The annual gathering has become a fixture in the Tindalls' calendar, with the couple making their regular journey to Australia's Gold Coast for the celebrations.

Zara's involvement with Magic Millions reflects her passion for promoting women in horse racing.

The initiative has proven successful, with Zara noting: "It's an amazing success story, an initiative which has brought a light to women in racing, but also ownership in racing."

The Magic Millions has established itself as a significant thoroughbred auction house and racing carnival.
