The Princess of Wales succeeded the Duke of Sussex as the patron of England's Rugby Football Union
Prince Harry's former patronage has sent a birthday message to the Princess of Wales.
Princess Kate is celebrating her 43rd birthday today, her first since completing preventative chemotherapy treatment.
England Rugby's official social media account issued well wishes to the royal.
They wrote: "Our patron. Wishing HRH The Princess of Wales a happy birthday."

Prior to her cancer diagnosis in early 2024, the Princess of Wales was seen supporting England's rugby team regularly.
In October 2023, Kate attended England's World Cup quarter-final clash against Fiji.
Princess Kate personally congratulated the England players after their victory over Fiji.
The Princess of Wales was pictured beaming alongside the rugby players in their dressing room after the match had concluded.

The month before, Princess Kate watched the World Cup group-stage match between England and Argentina.
Kate took over the role of patron from Prince Harry after he stepped down from the monarchy.
Prince William issued an emotional birthday message to the Princess of Wales and shared a new photo of his wife to mark the occasion.
The Prince of Wales said in a statement posted on social media: "To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you’ve shown over the last year has been remarkable.
"George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you. Happy Birthday, Catherine. We love you. W"

The Princess of Wales spent two weeks in hospital in January 2024 after undergoing significant abdominal surgery at the London Clinic.
In March, Kate announced in an emotional video message that she had begun preventative chemotherapy treatment after cancer had been found in tests following her surgery.
Six months later, Kate announced she had completed her chemotherapy treatment in a message which was accompanied by a short 3-minute film shot by Will Warr.
Kate said in the video announcement: "This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved."
