Prince Harry set to accept £8million inheritance with Sussexes 'desperate for money'

There is 'no doubt' Harry will accept the seven-figure sum, the King's former butler claimed
Prince Harry is set to receive a birthday inheritance worth £8million today, a former royal butler has said.
Grant Harrold, who served the King when he was the Prince of Wales between 2004 and 2011, explained how Harry turning 40 has opened the door to a trust fund set up by the late Queen Mother.
Despite speculation over whether the prince would accept the money given his exile from the cast of working royals, Harrold believes he will.
He said: "I've no doubt that Harry will accept it... It's money that's owed to him, money that's coming to him.

"I don't think he will decline the money - it's inheritance, so it's his right," he told the New York Post.
The £8 million inheritance is reportedly a larger share than what Prince William received on his 40th birthday.
The Queen Mother had funnelled some £71million into the trust fund, stipulating that Harry would access his share on the big occasion.
But the disparity has allegedly left Prince William and Princess Catherine "disgusted" - with sources close to the couple telling Closer magazine they feel Harry is not deserving of the income.
MORE ON HARRY:
Harry's celebration is expected to be more private than William's
PADespite the claims, the Royal Family and Kensington Palace issued surprise statements on the prince's birthday - after having ignored the occasion last year.
In an unexpected public message, the Royal Family's social media accounts said: "Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!"
But unlike William's milestone birthday, which was marked by a ceremonial bell concert at Westminster Abbey, Harry's celebration is expected to be more private.
Harrold noted: "It will be part of Harry's birthday celebrations which will hopefully see him receive well wishes from his family and celebrate with his wife and family, doing something very nice - but probably in private.
"What I've experienced with the royals before is that they like to celebrate these things privately behind closed doors."
The inheritance will doubtless serve as a substantial boon to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's finances.
The exiled pair's estimated net worth is understood to stand at £47million, amassed thanks to their high-profile projects undertaken since leaving royal duties in 2020 and relocating to the US.
The couple's move to California has seen them pursue various lucrative ventures, including deals with Netflix and Spotify - as well as the publication of Harry's controversial memoir, Spare.
