The Top Gear star is believed to have asked Harry's friend to join the business
Prince Harry's old friend has partnered up with Jeremy Clarkson on a new pub venture in Oxfordshire.
It comes as the Top Gear star is embroiled in a long running dispute with bosses over parking issues at his farm in the Cotswolds.
Johnny Hornby has been asked by Clarkson to handle the application for the licence to serve alcohol at the venue.
The license was reportedly transferred to a company named Baobab Operations Ltd last month, according to the Daily Mail.
Hornby runs the company and was chairman of Prince Harry's African charity Sentebale.
His business partner, Mark Devereux, is also noted on the application.
It has been reported that they have the green light to serve alcohol at the Windmill ale house.
Clarkson is already part of a brewing operation with Hornby.

Building teams are working on the premises but Clarkson has said it could be next year by time it is ready to open.
The presenter has been involved in a dispute with West Oxfordshire District Council over parking at his Diddly Squat Farm Shop.
Hornby stepped down as a trustee of Sentebale last year after 11 years.
The charity helps tackle HIV and supports vulnerable children in Africa.
In 2022, Hornby wrote an article in The Sun in which he said he hated Harry's wife, Meghan, on "a cellular level".
He suggested she had used "vivid bedroom promises" to transform Harry into a "warrior of woke".
The 57-year-old also said he dreamt of the day, "when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant ‘shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her," which caused widespread backlash.
He later apologised for the article.
